Chanel Berry Boost (6) No. 1 de Chanel Lip & Cheek Balm ($45.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a medium-dark raspberry pink with cooler undertones and a satin sheen. It had a smooth, lightly tacky texture that wasn't too thin or too thin, which yielded semi-sheer color payoff, though it was buildable if desired.
As a cheek product, it applied evenly to bare skin as well as on top of foundation, despite having light tackiness to the texture. It seemed to dry down slightly, as it initially looked quite dewy but settled into a more satin-like sheen, which wasn't fully set or matte. It wore well for eight hours before looking like it had migrated slightly.
As a lip product, it applied evenly to my lips with slight settling into my deeper lip lines, which wasn't visible at a normal viewing distance. The texture seemed to "melt" and felt less tacky as it sat on my lips. It lasted for four hours and was hydrating over time.
