We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Makeup – Buxom 24 KT Stilettos (I’d wanted this shade for years so finding it was such happiness)
Skincare – Jouviance SOS Cream
Perfume – Paloma Picasso

(finding all 3 of these items on sale/greatly discounted was just further serendipity!)

After asking for and getting a sample of MAC Paint Pot in Painterly, I am very impressed with the fact that it doesn’t irritate my eyes or make the water, and it is a good enough primer for most of my eyeshadows. So, am I “in love” with it? Not sure yet, but just the fact that my eyes aren’t reacting to it makes me love it in a utilitarian way!

I’ve used Painterly for years – as an eyeshadow on its own for when I don’t want to wear eye makeup, per se, but want to make my eyes look brighter, and also as a base/primer for other shadows and I’ve always loved it. I think I’m on my 2nd or 3rd jar of it, which is saying something because I rarely finish anything… I was worried when they reformulated the Paint Pots a few years ago that they might be worse than the originals but they seem to be pretty much just as good.

Makeup: MAC Marrakesh, reminded me my love for bold lipstick… after the last two years of barely wearing makeup. And to this point, MAC Matte lipstick formula still impresses me on how comfortable but long lasting it is (I know, unpopular opinion, most people consider it an outdated formula).

Skincare: Paula’s Choice Cleansing Balm… I never thought something can replace Clinique Take the Day Off.

I love the MAC Matte Lipstick formula and so does my sister. I also see so many makeup artists still use it. I’m glad that they haven’t changed the formula. I’m still gutted that they discontinued the Lustre lipsticks 😭

The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. I took the sponge tip off and use it all over my face with a bit of powder and it’s amazing. On me it lasts pretty well and there is very minimal transfer. I don’t know why I waited so long to try it. I use the shade Medium (130).

This is a wonderful undereye concealer, which I just discovered last year. It is a holy grail for me, and I love that you can order it at Amazon for under $5.

Makeup – Hmm – Really in love with – Maybelline’s Made for Me lipsticks in Mauve and Spice for sure.
Eyeshadows – Flying High from Temptalia x SG On the Horizons palette – such a unique colour and Gold Nectar from PMG’s Sublime Mini, which have just hit pan on.

Skincare: Definitely Weeleda’s Skin Food! Only for night time – but it leaves my skin so smooth even the next morning.

Perfume: Bottega Veneta’s Knot perfume – just a beautiful scent.
And like Mariella above, I got most of these on sale.
