What brand would you love to see an eyeshadow palette from?

I’d love to see what Clionadh came up with for an eyeshadow palette. I know they have a collaboration palette coming up, but I am more interested in what they’d do as a brand.

I’d love to see another great release from ABH (please, NOT a Norvina one!) – something along the lines of the Mario palette or Self-Made or even Sultry. And I would do a happy dance if Stila returned to their wonderful powder shadows of past and released a good palette.

I would think one major hurdle would be copyright; they’d have to change the name and probably the names of the colours as well but even that might not be sufficient. It’s one of the palettes I was really on the fence about buying but I am so glad I did as it’s one of my most used palettes.

OK – the PMG palette that I just purchased (having read your reply to my post on Saturday Aus time) is the PMG Subliminal Platinum Bronze Mothership palette – what a mouth full! I find Pat’s naming of her palettes to be completely confusing!

Oh my – that one IS a beauty. It’s the same size as the one I got – 6 pans rather than whatever # is in her larger ones. The one I got (Subliminal Bronze Ambition…not only are the names long and cumbersome, but they are often similar enough that they create confusion) has a more orange toned shadow in it that I’m not wild about but which is wearable. I think if they’d had in-store the one you got, I’d likely have purchased that one instead of the one I did get but I’m still happy with it. And the shadows themselves are such good quality.

I don’t understand it either – I’ve got 2 of the “In the” palettes (In the Garden and In the Light) and also cannot understand why they discontinued those – they were so excellent. Just as confusing is the dumping of their single shadows….they were so EXCELLENT and some of the colours were just incredibly wonderful. I think I have 6 or 7 singles and every one is just first rate. I’m glad the pans are large so I don’t have to worry about finishing off Starlight, Puppy or La Douce (3 of my total faves).

The love of eyeshadow is what got me in to makeup in the first place. But I have to admit that Colourpop and constant waste manufacturing has really taken the excitement away for me, personally.

Having said that…Lorac is killing it. They have released these sleek eyeshadow palettes, only three so far (the bigger ones – Noir, Soliel, Fairytale Forest), but they’ve got a ton of shades, small amounts, great color stories. I compared the formula of some of the exciting shades against my Bronze Seduction MTHRSHP and found them to be just as good, if not better. The mattes are 100% better than the PMG ones.

To really get my excitement up, though, I will need to see some truly nude contour shadow shades like those taupey grey browns that all but vanished when the Pinkening struck. Maybe some gorgeous grungey jewel teals?

You are quite right there Z – Lorac is killing it and I have all three of their palettes you listed above. The only thing I would like from their eyeshadows is for the shimmer ones to be a bit more firmly pressed into the pan – other than that I am so enjoying their shade selection (absolutely NO PINKS) and their neutral tones.
And I agree with you about CP – releasing quads. mega palettes, more quads etc. all the time is wasteful. The brand can dupe its own colours ten fold.

You are so right, Nancy. Almost nothing I have matches the quality of my Theory Minx palette. I love some of the color stories of the Petit Pro range but you would think they came from a different brand with how they differ in quality from the Theory.

I love Shroud’s palettes color stories so much I would love to see them come out with something new. Even though I only own two and it would take a really special color story that really suits my preferences/desires I do really enjoy seeing PMG reveals and am anxious to see her next mothership palette.

Well, we haven’t ‘heard’ anything from ABH for quite awhile now – so I am hoping that they are planning something good – like a cross between Sultry and the Mario palette – that would be very pleasing.
JD Glow is another brand I wouldn’t mind seeing what they could come up with either.

Sydney Grace! A nine pan series? The Temptalia x SG are fantastic palettes. Viseart is doing smaller palettes and pan sizes (with a smaller price tag) as is Natasha Denona. Both formulas are great, and I think SG also has a fantastic formula and color stories, but at a more affordable price point. 🙂
